Celiac News has been designed and created with the intention of helping you to stay informed about celiac disease, with a special emphasis on developments relating to celiac disease in medical science.
We find and then display links to the latest celiac disease related news stories in medical science, and in the general media. In the interest of defraying costs some pages are also offered with links to shopping sites where you can buy books about celiac disease and gluten free food items. When you follow a link from this site to a provider of gluten free food we may receive some compensation.
This website was conceived by, and is owned, designed, populated with information, and hosted by Steve Rider, an old guy with celiac disease and 31 years experience in the computer industry. Steve has over 100 websites, many of which are related to celiac disease.
In 2006 Steve retired from the corporate world in order to spend full time working on his very many websites. He pretty much breaks even most months in terms of hosting expenses versus generated income. It's like a hobby that nearly pays for itself.
If you are aware of a very good source of medical science information about celiac disease that you feel might contribute to this site by way of an RSS feed, please do not hesitate to suggest that site.
If you or a family member are affected by celiac disease or otherwise require a gluten free diet for medical reasons, like gluten intolerance for example, then please consider what we call Rule Number One for people with celiac disease. Always read the label!
Thank you for visiting Celiac News today, please don't be a stranger.
